Participate in the latest ‘movement’

According to Merriam-Webster’s dictionary, the adjective definition of ‘mobile’ is ‘capable of moving or being moved’. A mobile device, like a smartphone or tablet, can be classified based on many different features, like its OS functionality or user-interface. We think it’s sometimes fun to break away from all the latest terminology and take a look at where the root of the word really came from.

‘Movement’ is one of the reasons MobileVillage created the Mobile Star Awards. They are dedicated to advancing mobile and wireless technology for the professionals and the enterprise, and essentially, ‘moving’ them along. The 2010 Mobile Star Awards recognize top mobile products and guess who is up for nomination?!?

Feel like helping Quickoffice continue its ‘movement’ forward in the industry? Check out this nomination / voting page at http://www.mobilevillage.com/awards.htm, which includes some of the top industry players in their respective categories. Quickoffice is nominated in two categories, ‘Consumer app: Cloud services / remote access’ and ‘Consumer app: Productivity’.  While you’re there perusing through the site, you can vote for your favorite developer and product. But don’t delay, voting will close on Friday, November 19 at 10:00am ET.

There are some great nominees this year and we’re really looking forward to seeing who comes out on top!
