Good news for our loyal Quickoffice webOS customers. We listened to our users’ requests and feedback and have released an update to HP webOS TouchPad users today. Shipping preinstalled on the device and available as a free update to download, Quickoffice offers some performance and stability improvements which enhance the overall experience. These include:
- Enhanced stability when saving documents
- Seamless user interface for selecting larger amounts of text in long documents
- Integration with the tab button on the keyboard
Download the latest update on your webOS TouchPad and then tell us the features you’d like to see in future updates on IdeaScale.

Pleas communicate version numbers in update announcements, so users can check if they need the update. My appcat does not tell me there is an update, and I did not update since have this touchpad, but I have no way to check that. Also it is considered good practice to communicate version numbers.
Is there any ETA for more editing features in Word and Excel and the release of the PowerPoint app?
Thank you.
Is this 2059 update?
THANK YOU!
Are there special instructions for getting this update? I don't see an update available in the Software Manager. What is the version number, so I can verify if I have the latest version or not?
thanks
Thank you for this much needed update. You have great software and we appreciate you making it available for the HP TouchPad.
We apologize for not including the version number. The current version that's available is 2.1.2059
If you need assistance with the app, Customer Care would be happy to help via a ticket at http://support.quickoffice.com/index.php?_m=ticket...
Thanks so much!
