Quickoffice updates iPad app

To better prepare our loyal Quickoffice customers for the holiday season, we just rolled out an exciting update to our iPad application, Quickoffice Pro HD! Compatible with iOS 5, the app now offers new fonts, including Arial Narrow, Calibri, Cambria, Courier New and Helvetica Neue, for our more creative and artistic users who desire more options when creating and editing their Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint files. Users may even find it helps them draft those last-minute Christmas cards or notes.

For greater document collaboration capabilities, we added the ability to open 2003 password files, click actionable hyperlinks and insert numbered lists. So, it's never been easier for users to send their working Christmas wish list to Santa! In addition, we recently integrated Quickoffice's iPad app with SharePlus, a service that lets you easily browse documents within Quickoffice, and save them back to your SharePoint Document Library. Through this new feature, we track each file’s origin, allowing users to send back an edited document to its original source, avoiding the need for duplicate documents in numerous locations, and eliminating confusion.

Aligning with one of today’s latest tech trends, we’re always aiming to further integrate Quickoffice with cloud providers and services. We believe seamless connectivity and cloud access should be a key element to every application, as it provides a more streamlined user experience, as well as increases productivity on the go. That’s why we’re the most connected application in Apple’s iTunes App Store. It’s also why we greatly value our cloud partners, which include Box.net, Dropbox, GoogleDocs, MobileMe, Evernote, Catch, SugarSync and Huddle. Thanks, guys!
