In a recent, funny blog post, Mashable writer Todd Wasserman covered a study stating that 35 percent of tablets owners use their devices in the bathroom. The bathroom? Yes, the bathroom. The study, conducted by Staples Advantage, also found that 30 percent of users take their tablet to restaurants, 60 percent take them on vacation and 78 percent take them to bed. Additional findings from the survey indicate that 80 percent of tablet owners say they enjoy an improved work / life balance, citing increased productivity and improved overall communication.
The study also found that about 75 percent of tablet users check their email and that one-third of them review and edit documents on their devices, which is where applications like Quickoffice come into play in a big way. Without software that enables users to remain connected while they’re away from home, the office or school, productivity and overall efficiency is exponentially decreased.
Whether you’re working on an iPad, Android tablet or TouchPad, mobile computing devices, like tablets, enable people to keep up the productivity pretty much everywhere in the world, including on the toilet! Where do you use your tablet the most? My favorite places include the airplane and my back porch, so I can keep the creative juices flowing, using my iPad to remain productive.
Where do you find yourself using your tablet the most?

I use it at work for meeting notes and I really NEED OneNote integration on my Transformer.
I also use it at home for e-books, movies, and gaming.
I officiate quite a few weddings. I like to email PDF copies of my ceremonies to my tablet, open them in Quickoffice and read them right from the tablet. Everyone comments on what a tech-savvy officiant I am!
